One Week, Three Days to Go.

So I decided that a blog would be the best way for me to let everyone know how I'm doing in the mighty Deutschland when I head over :) Writing a tonne of different emails to different people is tough. Thus, WELCOME!

With a little over a week until we head off, I am feeling, in pretty much equal parts:
 - Excited
 - Thrilled
 - Nervous
 - Terrified.

I'm scared I won't fit in with Lea and her friends and family, I'm scared I'll miss home and my family and friends, I'm scared I'll feel all alone for two whole months. I'm scared that I'm so far away.

Having said that, I'm so, so excited. I just can't wait to see what it's like to live in Germany, to make new friends, to make four million really embarrassing mistakes with my German and provide everyone around me (and myself) with a few laughs. I can't wait to see Munich and the areas around it, the castles, the Christmas markets, and the snow the snow the snow!

Needless to say, I (and my mother!) am deep in preparation. It's very hard to remember everything that I use in two months. I've bought my travel diary, I'm planning books to take... I'm getting there!

A few points of note - if you add your email address to the box at the bottom of this page, I believe you'll get an email every time I post. Which will, hopefully, be relatively frequently. Also, comments are open to everyone, so please add your thoughts! I'm sure I'll probably be in need of a bit of family and friend support now and then.

Right, that's it for now. I'll post again just before I head off. Two exams to go (French and Scholarship Economics) and I should really do some more study!

Alles Liebe,
Camille xx
